This policy describes what this website actually collects and what it actually loads.
What we collect and why
When you book a jump we ask for your first and last name, email, phone, how you heard about us, and an optional note. We store them with your reservation, together with the PayPal order and capture ids for your deposit. Your card number goes straight to PayPal and stays with PayPal; the order and capture ids are all we receive. We create a private link so you can view or move your booking, and we email it to you. That link expires 24 hours after it is issued.
When you buy a gift certificate we ask for your name and email, the recipient's name, an optional recipient email and message, and how you want it delivered. We store the certificate, the code, and the PayPal ids.
When you contact us through the form we take your name, email, an optional phone number, a topic, and your message, and we open a support ticket with it. If you tick "Keep me posted on jump dates, events, and deals," we also keep your email, that exact consent wording, and the time you agreed, so we can show what you agreed to.
Email signup keeps your email, your name if you give it, the consent wording and the time you agreed, and any campaign tags in the link you arrived on. Your IP address is used to limit repeat submissions and is not stored with your signup.
Who handles your data for us
- PayPal processes deposits and gift certificate payments.
- Zendesk receives contact-form messages and booking support tickets.
- Resend sends our booking confirmations, gift certificates, and rebooking links.
- Google Tag Manager runs on every page and can load analytics tags. It follows your cookie choice.
- Google Maps loads on the Directions page only after you press "Load map."
- Open-Meteo supplies the weather on the Conditions page. We fetch it from our own server.
We do not sell your information. It stays with us and the services listed above, which use it only to do the job we hired them for.
Cookies
A cookie remembers your cookie choice for 12 months. Two first-party cookies record how you found us, which means campaign tags, the site that referred you, and the page you landed on. Those last 90 days. Ad click ids are stored in them only if you accept analytics.
In the United States, analytics is on unless you decline. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, it is off unless you accept. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner.
Children
You must be 18 or older to skydive with us, so our booking, gift and contact forms are meant for adults.
Keeping and deleting your data
Deletion is handled by hand today. Email or call us using the details below and we will remove your information. A written retention period for reservations, gift certificates and subscriber records is still being worked out.
